Miss Annie Buchanan

Teaching children has always been a passion of mine. In 8th grade, I decided that I wanted to be a teacher and that I wanted to go to Western Michigan University. I graduated from Western with my Bachelors of Arts degree in April of 2001. I spent the next year as a substitute teacher for Cedarville Public schools, in the Upper Peninsula. 

I started my first full time teaching position at St. Michael Lutheran School in August of 2002 and was officially called as a teacher in Feb. 2010.  I received my Masters of Science in Educational Leadership and my Lutheran Teacher Diploma from Concordia University-Ann Arbor.

The 2011-2012 school year marks my tenth year of teaching. It has been such a blessing to see how God is working in the lives of all my former students as they grow in the faith and leave a mark in the world.
