St. Michael Lutheran
School is pleased to offer sports programs for its students.
St. Michael participates in the
Kalamazoo Area Small Schools Sports League.
Fall

Soccer
St. Michael partners with
Reformed Heritage Christian school to establish a coed soccer team.
Students
in grades 5-8 are eligible to participate.
Girls' Volleyball
St. Michael partners with
Reform Heritage Christian to establish a girls' Volleyball team.
Girls in grades 5-8 are eligible to participate.
Cheerleading
This is open to 3rd – 5th
grade girls and boys who are interested. SMLC members who home
school their children are welcome to join. We practice twice a
week (Tuesdays and Saturdays) and cheer at girls and boys
basketball home games only. Our 1st practice is Tuesday,
September 14th at 5 pm – meet in the gym. Saturday we practice
from 10:00 - 11:15 am Coached by SMLS Parent and Church
member, Carla Bradley.

 SKI CLUB
Join the SMLS Ski
Club. All students grades K-8 are welcome. Student ski pass
includes 3 free lessons. Sign-ups begin in October.
Spring
Girls on the Run
SMLS started participating in Girls on the Run in the Spring of
2008. In 2010, we have two GOTR teams. The season ends with a
fun 5K run.
