St.
Michael Lutheran School
will be offering after
school
enrichment classes for the Spring of 2008. These fun and
affordable educational classes cover a variety of interests and
most meet once per week. We encourage you to review them with
your child and then sign up in the school
office by
Friday, January 25.
Some
classes may have limited space and all are on a first come/first
serve basis. Payment must be made to SMLS prior to the first
session. It’s an easy and affordable way to learn a new skill
or begin a new hobby. We hope you will consider signing up
today!!
SKI CLUB
Join the SMLS Ski
Club. All students grades K-6 are welcome. Student ski pass
includes 3 free lessons. Sign-ups begin in October. For more

MAD SCIENCE
“Kitchen Chemistry”
Lots of
hands-on activities. Children will use food as the vehicle to
learn chemistry. Everything from food volcanoes to lemon
shockers! This class will make your child hungry for science!
Meets Mondays from 3:30-4:45 for 8 weeks beginning Monday,
January 28.
Cost:
$80. Grades K-6 welcome!
French
With Mrs.
Eaton
Elementary French for fun. This six week course is designed to
provide a beginning foundation in foreign language skills
including listening, speaking, reading and writing along with
cultural awareness. Meets Mondays beginning February 11th from
3:30 to 4:30 pm. Minimum of 3 students required. Cost: $45.

VOLLEYBALL CLINIC
With
Krista Grotelueschen
Girls in grades 3-6 can participate in a clinic tolearn
essential skills for playing volleyball. In addition to
practices, scrimmages will be arranged with other schools.
Practices
are Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:30pm beginning January
14. Cost is $20 and includes a t-shirt. Participants must
supply knee-pads.
