I was born and raised in Saginaw, MI. I received my B.A. from Concordia College, Ann Arbor in 1993 and my M.A. in Early Childhood from Saginaw Valley State University in 2005.
I moved to Kalamazoo in June 2011 and worked as the Volunteer Coordinator at the Gospel Mission for 18 months, and as a Marketing Executive at a local radio station for 6 moths before I began teaching at St. Michael. Previously I have taught in Bay City, Saginaw, and Walled Lake. I have taught in classrooms from Kindergarten through eighth grade throughout my career.
I have three children, Zachary, Sydney and Wesley and three dogs, Rooney, Schemmy, and Paisley. When I am not at school you can find me at home with my family.
