Miss Annie Buchanan

I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I went to Kentwood Public Schools through my freshman year in high school, and then moved to Grandville. I graduated from Grandville High School in 1996. While in 8th grade, I decided that I wanted to be a teacher and that I wanted to go to Western Michigan University. So, in the fall of 1996 I began to work on that goal as a freshman at Western. I graduated from Western with my Bachelors of Arts degree in April of 2001. I spent the next year as a substitute teacher for Cedarville Public schools, in the Upper Peninsula.

I started my first full time teaching position at St. Michael Lutheran School in August of 2002. I received my Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from Concordia University-Ann Arbor. I am currently working on becoming a colloquized teacher.
